Marine Paul Collins died following the crash of a Lynx helicopter in Basra City on Saturday 6 May 2006.

Marine Andrew Condron from Bathgate was reported missing on 29 November 1950 during operations at Chosin Reservoir, Korea. Found to be a prisoner of war. 1950 to 1953 imprisoned in Camp 10 at Chonma and Camp 5, Pyuktong, North Korea.

Lieutenant Carlo Contaldi, RM Reserve,was appointed M.B.E. (Military Divsion) 1 January 2022.

Marine Samuel Cunningham was found dead at Deering block, Chivenor.

Lance Corporal Anthony Evans died in service, cause unknown to this archive [Source: AFM ROH].

Marine George Evans died in Malta. He had served in WW2 and in Malaya. An inquest on the 21st November found he had taken his own life in a blitzed building in Floriana.  

Marine Tony Evans died during operations in Afghanistan. He and Marine Georgie Sparks, both of J Company, had been conducting a foot patrol to the north-west of Lashkar Gah in Helmand province.

• Acting Lieutenant Colonel Halford David Fellowes was Commanding Officer Royal Marine Siege Regiment 1941 [1].

Lance Corporal Steven Fellows was part of a patrol in the Green Zone south of Forward Operating Base Jackson when a Jackal vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in the Helmand River Wadi.  All three of the vehicle occupants were wounded with LCpl Fellows’ position as the vehicle commander

Corporal Peter Fitton died during operations on the Falkland Islands. He was part of a returning patrol from 45 Commando when they were mistaken by British forces for the enemy. He was killed along with Sgt. Robert Leeming, Cpl. Andy Uren, and Mne. Keith Phillips.

Marine Paul Fleming, RM Reserve Scotland, died in a traffic accident returning to Glasgow from a training course on Dartmoor.  Also killed were Mne. Hardie and Mne. Martin.

Marine Ronald Formoy, Lima Company, was one of five commandos who died during an action which resulted in the rescue of hostages taken and held at Limbang, Sarwak.

Marine Roger Fowke died at the 28th Imperial General Hospital, Hong Kong, of head injuries sutained as the result of a car accident.
