Marine Terrance Darby, from Kew, was reported missing on 29 November 1950 during operations at the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, Korea. He was later found to be a prisoner of war. An ex pupil of St Elizabeth School, Richmond, he gained a scholarship to Wimbledon College.
