Lieutenant Bernard Skinner died in a traffic accident when his commando truck heading to Brighton Station was hit by a Naval truck with several injured. Lieutenant Skinner was sent to Royal Sussex Hospital where he later died.
Private Arthur Slater was reported missing presumed died of wounds in North Africa on or shortly after 6 January 1943. On this date his Commando were engaged in operations in the Djebel Azzag (Sedjenane) area of Tunisia.
