Lance Corporal Harold Blinman was killed in action during operations in Tunisia, North Africa. He has no known grave.Son of Charles William and Emma Eliza Blinman; husband of Gladys Evelyn Blinman, of Corsham, Wiltshire. Father of Terence aged 3 months. At the time of his death No.6 Commando were engaged in an assault on one of a line of flat topped hills known as Green Hill which was held by the enemy and covered the road and railway running from Tabarka to Mateur.
