Lt John Francis Hume-Spry No 6 Commando
Lieutenant John Hume-Spry died during the period his Commando were engaged in operations at the crossing of the River Rhine at Wesel. Son of Colonel C.A.N.Hume-Spry D.S.O., and Mrs. Francis Hume-Spry of St. Leonards. Father of Peter Hume-Spry. Educated at the Imperial Service College and the Royal Military Academy.
