Reginald Jack Pash was a Chef from Dumfries who enlisted into the Grenadier Guards and later volunteered for the commandos. Guardsman Pash, 5 troop No.2 Commando, died during operations at Dragone Hill, Salerno. He was initially buried by men from the 6th Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiment however his grave was never again found. Son of Walter and Patricia Ann Pash; brother of Helen and Gwen; husband of Margaret Pash, of Trinity, Edinburgh.
