Private Charles Benjamin Evans died in Italy as a result of an accident. Son of William Henry and Elizabeth Rose Evans, of Bexleyheath, Kent.

Notes
CWGC main entry does not show Commando, nor do the Casualty Listings. However the CWGC Grave Concentration Report does show No.2 Commando. Source [3] above shows his service in the commando being 1943 and 1944 and that he died in an accident Sept.'44. It also records next of kin as his Mother residing 40 Mayfair Avenue, Bexley Heath, Kent. Service Record required to confirm details of unit serving at time of death. Email to CWGC 26/1/2025.
