John Caveney was a Bricklayer from Paisley who enlisted into the Royal Scots Fusiliers before volunteering for the Commandos. He served in No.2 Commando 5 Troop 'B' Section (3 Sub-Section), and was billeted at 4 Church Place whilst the Commando were based in Ayr. Post war member of the Commando Association.
