William Thomas Cousins, a Typewriting Mechanic from London, enlisted into the Royal Marines on 19 June 1941 later joining 41RM Commando sometime after its formation in 1942.
Marine Cousins was captured and a prisoner of war on 10 September 1943 during operations at Salerno, Italy.
