Notes
There is some confusion on the records for this individual where in some he is listed as a POW at Crete. In some records he is listed under the rank and surname Cpl. DIAZ. However there was a 6100509 Cpl Juan DIAZ of 'D' Bn., Layforce who was captured at Crete (see below). The source shown above for this man is clear on service timeline with name Redondo as shown and lists all the men by service number with detailed timeline of their postings.
