ADM 104/130 records he died in Belgium. However we have a photo in the gallery of his original grave located at Maasbracht Holland [view....].
Also seen referred to as Belle Isle, Belle Island, or Bell Island. Capt John Day MC 45RM refers to the island being named by the Allies because of its shape. Location is on the River Maas near Roermond.
