Arthur Charles Relf, from Maidstone in Kent, enlisted on 27 April 1939. Formerly employed in the Service Department of the Maidstone Electricity Works. Lance Corporal Relf, R.A.M.C. attached 45RM Commando, was reported wounded and missing 7 June 1944, and a prisoner of war 9 June 1944 at Normandy, France.
