Gunner Alexander Drummond was killed in action during operations at Lake Comacchio, Italy. Son of Albert W. and Mabel J. Drummond, of Allerton, Lancashire.
Alexander Drummond, a Window Cleaner from Liverpool, was attested into the Royal Artillery on 11 April 1928. Posted Royal Air Force 7 June 1941. Posted back to the Royal Artillery 22 August 1942. Volunteered for commando service.
