Marine Ronald Jeffs aged 23 was captured 3 June 1944 during operations on the island of Brac (Operation Flounced). A former pupil of Stockingford County School Marine Jeffs was formerly employed by Messrs. Halls in Hinckley. Enlisted Royal Marines 2 May 1941.
