Glyn Salisbury from Wrexham enlisted into the Territorial Army in February 1936, civil trade Coal Miner. He volunteered for the Commandos during the war. Corporal Salisbury, No.1 Commando, was wounded and taken prisoner of war after Operation Chariot at St. Nazaire, France, on 28 March 1942. He had embarked for the raid on Motor Launch ML 306.
Member of the Commando Association.
