Recommendation
Feb. 26 1943 Fedj Et Attia (516128 Sheet 34)
In the action between No.6 Commando and a Battalion of the Herman Goering Jaeger Regt. Captain Robinson commanded two Troops of the Commandos with great skill. During a critical stage in the action he counter attacked a vital ridge no less than three times each time leading the attack. Captain Robinson was wounded in the left kneecap after the first hour. Yet he continued to fight on for over four hours inflicting heavy German casualties until his ammunition was practically exhausted. He led his men back the next day after a long march through enemy territory and across a difficult road. His gallantry and endurance were of an exceptionally high order [2].
