Mentioned in Despatches for outstanding service whilst operating with the Allied Armies in Italy. Son of Wilfred John and Gladys Schooley; husband of Catherine Margery Schooley (nee Evans), of Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan. Educated at Warwick School.
