Private James Floyd, a sniper in 2 Troop, was wounded on 20 August 1944. He was reported missing in March 1945 later confirmed as killed in action during operations at the River Rhine crossing at Wesel. Son of James Sidney and Louisa Hilda Floyd, of Ramsgate, Kent; husband of Grace Floyd, of Hove, Sussex.
