John James 'Jack' Jenkins 3 Commando
Enlisted Welsh Guards 1941. Volunteered for special service and joined No.3 Commando. Served in 3 Troop at Normandy. Post war served in Palestine, first with the 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, then with the Palestine Police, before joining the London Metropolitan Police with which he remained until he retired in 1975. Member of the Commando Association from Solva, nr. Haverfordwest, Dyfed. Buried at Capel u Cwm, Cwmsychpant, Llanybydder, Ceredigion.
