Sidney Walter Williams was a Cardiff City Police Officer who volunteered for the Commandos. In 1939 he was a Police Constable residing with family (his father was also a Constable) at 5 Tony yr Ywen Avenue, Cardiff. Served in No.4 Commando and the Commando Basic Training Centre. Served in the ranks before being commissioned Second Lieutenant 14 October 1944. Post war member of the Commando Association from Cardiff.
