Honours & Awards:
Eric Cross joined No.4 Commando on its formation becoming a Section Sergeant in 'F' Troop and also their Quartermaster Sergeant. He served at Dieppe, was recommended for officer training, and on 18 March 1944 was commissioned Second Lieutenant. He re-joined No.4 Commando later becoming their Administration Officer. 1954 appointed M.B.E. (Civil Division) whilst CEO at the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment.
