Private Geoffrey Spurr, No.6 Commando, was wounded 28 January 1945 during operations at Brachterbeek, Holland. Previously served in No.12 Commando. Active member of the East Anglia Branch of the Commando Association including posts as Secretary and then Chairman in the late 70's and throughout the 80's. Resided Brandon, Suffolk.
