George Reid Lunn enlisted 27 August 1936. Lance Corporal Lunn, 52 Middle East Commando was captured 1 June 1941 during operations in Crete where his Commando formed part of 'D' Battalion, Layforce. 19 July 1941 until 14 August 1941 imprisoned at Salonika, Greece, from which he escaped for 3 days before recapture. After his liberation in 1945 his address was in Dover, Kent.
